What is the Markies Club?
The Markies Club was formed in May 2006; it is designed specifically to support nationally, a supply and distribution chain of a first class frying product for the Fast Food Industry, revolving predominately around the Great British Fish ‘n’ Chip Shop.
Club Members were invited on their strengths of being major suppliers to the Fish and Chip Industry. Each individual member has been specifically selected as an integral part of this chain bringing with them personal expertise in either growing and or, direct supply to retail outlets.
Membership includes some of the best potato growing farmers in the U.K. and also some of the leading potato merchanting companies.
The Mark of Quality
These members are individual business’s, with their own, well established branded bag, they can now supply, subject to stringent quality checks the exclusive “Markies Club Supply” Branded Logo. Please ask for this mark when ordering, remember you can only receive this brand through these club members.
A supply carrying this mark ensures that the buyer is purchasing a genuine product, with a superior fry colour, lower damage levels and generally the best frying potatoes available at time of ordering.
